????? DENTURES ??????
I’m getting 18 teeth extracted and immediate dentures put in top. was wondering if se could me in on what should expect.
*How will the pain last? Is it unbareable at times?
*What foods are to eat/drink?
ANY OTHER ADVICE IS APPRECIATED. THANKS!

Hi. I just read your posting, and no it will not be painful. At most it just feels like having one tooth pulled, if you have every had one, that is how it is. Just sort of (cant think of a word) knowing you had something done. I felt more of the sore from the novacaine needle, like the bruising, so about the teeth being pulled, no pain. Putting the denture in immediately sort of cushions it and you feel nothing, cause it is sort of like a bandaid. Also the denture will fit better cause it sort of molds to your mouth by putting it in right away.
The first day, sort of eat soup, scrambled eggs, that sort of thing, but within a day or so, you will be able to eat and do what you think you can.
And no, it is not unbearable. All I needed was a tylenol (normal) every once in awhile, if that.
